A Catholic priest, who was caught sexually abusing children, told his victims that the rape was just a "Jewish ritual from the Old Testament". The Italian priest Mauro Inzoli was offered early retirement by Pope Francis to seek "a life of prayer and humble discretion" after he was found guilty of the sexual abuse of minors. According to one of Inzoli's victims, the pedophile priest told the child that he was performing a "baptism of the testicles" that was a "sign of affection between father and son".
